History

1977 Our founder, Mr. Jacob Brosh, a salesman of white kitchen appliances, established a family business under the name J. Brosh & Sons. He started the business as a manufacturer of home and kitchen appliances, specializing in production of ovens and semi-automatic washing machines

1998 J. Brosh Industrial Group diversified its activities by acquiring Ayelet Barkan, a carpet yarn manufacturing plant (now “Brosh Fibers”)

2000 Divestment of home appliance production plant

2001-2007 Improvement of existing machinery and installment of additional production lines increase production capacity by 40%. Mill now exports premier yarns to carpet manufacturers in four continents. It houses a world class R&D department equipped to generate unique yarn configurations suited to specifications of various client applications

2012 Acquisition of Salina Industries (now “Brosh Flexible Packaging”), a vertically integrated manufacturer of clear and printed CPP and BOPP films, sleeves and bags

2013-2014 Increase of Flexible Packaging production capacity by 30% through increased efficiency of existing machinery and installment of four additional slitting lines

2015 Acquisition and installment of solvent less lamination line and fifth flexographic printing press to further expand our product portfolio, improve printing quality and availability, and to increase printing capacity

2016 Acquisition of two additional bag-making lines (Q1-Q2), upgrade of laser perforation line to double capacity of laser perforation (Q2-Q3), acquisition of two additional bag-making lines (planned, Q3-Q4)
